Window and façade cleaning
Cleaning without rope access or swing stages.
How high can a drone wash windows?
ClearHorizon's drone cleaning reaches up to 99 m (325 ft). That covers most buildings in Winnipeg and the Prairies.
Is drone window washing safer than rope access?
No one hangs off the building, so there is no fall risk for workers. The crew keeps a safety area of at least 5 metres below the drone, and the work usually needs no street closure.
How often should a commercial building be cleaned?
Many buildings wash windows once or twice a year, often in spring and fall. Busy retail and medical buildings may book more often. Façade soft-washing is usually every one to three years.

Inspections and condition surveys
Documenting the outside of the building for planning and repairs.
What does a drone façade inspection look for?
Cracks, spalling concrete, loose cladding, failed sealant, efflorescence, window and curtain wall problems, and damaged balconies or soffits. Each issue is photographed so engineers can review it.
Can a drone help with a condo reserve fund study?
Yes. Close-up photos of every elevation and the roof give the engineer or reserve fund planner a full visual record. The drone documents the visible condition; the professional writes the assessment.
How do you find leaks in a flat roof?
A thermal scan after a sunny day shows wet insulation, which holds heat longer than dry areas. Mapping wet spots helps you repair sections instead of replacing the whole roof.

Planning and records
Fitting drone work into a building's yearly plan.
What does a building need for a drone cleaning day?
Access to water, a cleared safety area at the base, wet-washing temperatures at or above 0°C and suitable weather. Near the airport, flights also need airspace approval, which the crew arranges.
Which buildings has ClearHorizon worked on?
Completed Winnipeg jobs include 127 Bannatyne, the Passport building at 433 Main, 123 James, 909 St Mary's, 283 Portage, 420 Chrisland and 254 Wellington.
